Our school is located across the road from Homebush Railway Station. Many children travel to and from school using rail transport.

Children from Years K-2 are eligible for free bus/train travel. Children from years 3-6 are entitled to free bus/train travel if they live over 1.6kms in a direct line from the school or 2.3km walking distance.
Walking distance applications should be sent directly to the local Ministry of Transport. Their website is www.transport.nsw.gov.au.
Applications for free rail/bus travel can be obtained from the front office and should be completed and returned for processing. You should allow 10 working days (approx) for issue of the pass. Students will be notified when a pass arrives at school. The pass can only be issued to the student who is required to sign upon collection.
It is a regulation that passes must be handed in for change of address and if the student leaves the school.
Fee paying overseas students are ineligible for free rail/bus transport.
A bus and train pass cannot be issued for the same journey. The bus pass can either cover the entire journey from home to school or the journey from home to the station if a rail pass is required.
